The QUFA FORUM is a blog intended to give people in the Queen’s community the opportunity to voice their concerns and opinions regarding issues on campus and, more broadly, issues that regard Queen’s as a postsecondary institution.
The motivating event for the blog has been the budget crisis of 2008-2009 at Queen’s, and the concerns many of us have about the way it came about and the manner in which it is being addressed (or not) by the Queen’s Board of Trustees and Administration. However, we expect the blog to evolve beyond this issue, partly because the issue itself is related to larger ones and even more so because new issues and concerns will emerge and demand attention.
The blog will ultimately be defined by its contributors and its changing contours will be reflected in the evolving list of topics that will be formulated on the basis of submissions.
QUFA FORUM
